    Pre-K Programs

If your child will be starting school in the fall, it's time to think about pre-kindergarten. At Nanny's, Covenant Health's state-of-the-art childcare center, children benefit from a unique program that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond.

Our Edu-Care Pre-Kindergarten Program offers enhanced educational experiences that build upon and strengthen skills that are developmentally appropriate for 4- and 5-year-olds.

With a broad curriculum that includes activities in language development, social sciences, math, art, health and safety, computers, life skills, music, and foreign language, the goals of the program are to:

    • Foster positive self-identity and a sense of emotional well-being

    • Develop social skills and knowledge of appropriate social behaviors

    • Encourage children to think, reason, question, and experiment

    • Encourage language(s) and literacy development

    • Enhance physical development, including fine and gross motor skills

    • Encourage and demonstrate sound health, safety, and nutritional practices

    • Encourage creative expression, representation, and appreciation for the arts

    • Develop a respect for cultural diversity

Nanny's is located on the Fort Sanders West campus at Kingston Pike and Pellissippi Parkway. The state of Tennessee recognizes the center with its distinguished rating of Three-Stars.

Enrollment is limited in Nanny's upcoming Edu-Care Pre-Kindergarten class, scheduled to begin in June. For more information call 690-7212.
